Embedding gnome_entry in toolbar?

I'm just wondering if its possibly to embed a gnome_entry (or just about
any other widget) into a toolbar, and if so, how would one go about it?
Or is it necesary to do like gnome-help-browser does and make it a
seperate handle box?
