No - do not let the flaming begin. If you want to get into 'philosphical' 
discussions about the naming of Linux - do it somewhere else - i.e. do it 
on a GNU mailing list or the linux-kernel mailing list. This forum is 
only concerned with GNOME. Perhaps you can even have discussions on the 
distributions lists (i.e. redhat-list@redhat.com)

This is not the place for GNU discussions. This is the place for GNOME 
discussion. Does the GNU/Linux debate have anything to do with GNOME??? 
No. Yes GNOME is a GNU Project, but it is a cross-platform product so its 
not limited to Linux only.

Bad Richard for miss-posting. You know Richard, you could easily have 
posted something at gnu.org and provided links on www.linuxtoday.com or 
slashdot.org
