Could someone please respond...

I have posted a request for info here three times to no avail.  I would
like to know what I need to do to make the 'Re-scan mountable devices'
selection appear in the desktop menu.  I am using the latest RPMs and
Redhat 5.2.  I would really appreciate some feedback.
