both ways give me the same error

ok, started from the beginning, compiling in order, now with gnome-guile
I get this error during make:

/usr/local/lib/libgnomeui.so: undefined reference to `dgettext'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [gnomeg] Error 1
