mc-4.1.35 compile problems

Hi there,

I'm trying to compile mc-4.1.35 and having some compile problems.  Things
seem to go fine until:

gcc -c -I..  -I./../vfs -I./.. -I./../slang -I.. -DBINDIR=\""/usr/bin/"\"
-DLIBDIR=\""/usr/lib/mc/"\" -DICONDIR=\""/usr/share/icons/mc/"\"
-DLOCALEDIR=\""/usr/share/locale/"\"  -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g
-I/usr/local/include -DMIDNIGHT editmenu.c
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 7
make[1]: *** [editmenu.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/mc-4.1.35/edit'
make: *** [all] Error 1

Is there a problem with this program?
