There are no porting efforts, per se.  Failure of GNOME to run on any
modern unix-like system is a bug, and it should be reported as such.

I will add Linux/PPC as a tested platform, however.  (I hope to add
Linux/ARM this weekend when I try to get gnome going on my netwinder!)
