Sorry, those two weren't the Illegal Instructions. Running gdb
./same-gnome, I get
>(gdb) run
>Starting program: /usr/gnome/bin/./same-gnome
>/usr/gnome/bin/./same-gnome: Operation not permitted.
>
>Program exited with code 01.
>You can't do that without a process to debug
This doesn't help a whole lot.
