I assume you mean libtool?  Report the bug to bug-libtool@gnu.org.

Automake's dependency tracking code assumes gcc and GNU make.
If you want to use a different compiler or make, you can. You just
have to disable the dependency tracking.  `automake --include-deps' 
will do this.
