Error message when starting applets

When the panel starts up and tries to fire up the applets, it says:

sh: true: command not found
started applet, exec (...)

The applets seems to work, except for the gnome-pager that won't run
automatically, I have to start it manually every time I start the panel.

Otherwise the applets seem to be running just fine. Is there a problem
with my setup perhaps, or is the "true: command not found" message ok?
