Re: whats the correct way of starting gnome



Myself - I don't actually care about the panel.  My window manager
(Window Maker) takes care of most of those functions.  I just start
Window Maker and when I need to go Gnome, I just launch whatever app I
need.

One of the reasons is the panel and amount of CPU it seemed to want!
