Re: libpng versions



You should install both versions of libpng.  (The dynamic linker should
understand how to match programs that use libpng.so.0 with the old library and
programs that use libpng.so.2 with the new version.)

I forget how I put both versions of libpng on my redhat system, but I think
simply specifying an install rather than an upgrade (rpm -ivh libpng-1.0.1*)
should work.
