This would be extremely annoying, at least for me, in large documents. I
think the best comment made so far has been User Configurability. Let
whoever is using the desktop make the decision on how *they* work best. If
it could be gotten down the point where you could configure things
differently for different individual windows, or at least individual
applications, that'd be even better.
