I know this is only an alpha release and all, but I'm having trouble
compiling GNOME-0.12 (in fact, I've never been able to compile any GNOME
version...)
The message I get is the following:
./../../libgnome/.libs/libgnome.so: undefined reference to
`bindtextdomain'
make[3]: *** [gemvt] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gnome-0.12/programs/gemvt'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gnome-0.12/programs'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gnome-0.12'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
I compiled gtk+-0.99.3, Guile 1.2, installed slib2c0, compiled Gettext
(gmp did not compile, is it really necessary? it's just for the
calculator, right?)... What could be the problem? How can I fix
it (beware, I'm not much of a programmer... :) )
Any help is appreciated (or if there's a binary distribution
somewhere... I'd like to know) :)
