* The GNOME lists are intended to be a forum of discussion for the
development of the GNOME desktop environment. They are not designed
as a general forum for exchanging information on whether slashdot.org
is down or not and if in.fingerd is a daemon or not.
* Yes, the Netscape announcement is very interesting to GNOME, but
please, keep the mailing list on focus.
* Those that have contributed code to GNOME have agreed that we want the
list to go back to not including a Reply-To: header, so there is no
point in discussing any more the features of your mail software.
I counted the posts. A bunch of people who have *never* posted
to the gnome list were arguing on the thread what *we* should do.
* The window manager thread should die now.
I beg you guys to please help us keep this place sane.
