it's not working 100% for me .. but I can use a very basic panel with the
current version ...

I think it's the different combinations of
glib/orbit/gnome-libs/gnome-core ... right now it probably doesn't make
sense to amke the current thing work right since we'll be dumping most of
the current corba stuff ...

I'm using FOR_PANEL tag of orbit .. but that from what I hear it
won't compile with current gnome-libs .. I'm doing a recompile
of HEAD of orbit and gnome-libs ..

if you can look for where the segfault is .. if not .. don't worry about
it now too much ... it'll change and be broken in a different way :) ...
