actually it can.. :) you can attach an arbitary amount of data per
resource.. like for properties.

this si the better way - so POINt to the file for the backgorudn image
+ setting s(ie scaled to fix, tield at size x, integer tiled etc. etc.
etc.)

yes it can:


.gnome.desktop.background.image.filename: /home/user/images/fluffy.png
.gnome.desktop.background.image.fit_type: scaled_to_fit

etc.

I'm not sayign it's the best method.. but it IS possible.
