eog gnome-2-18 branch mixedup in git

Greetings,

we just noticed (because translators started pushing updates to reach
100% again) that eog's gnome-2-18 branch apparently got mixed-up during
git import.

It seems to be a mixture of the old gnome-2-18 branch with the then new
trunk, e.g. it has the old-style configure.in (gnome-2-18) and the new
configure.ac files. Other files are missing completely
(like /eog.glade), probably because they are at a different place in
trunk.

This might be a result of the fact that the gnome-2-18 seems to have
been recreated (see the gnome-2-18_svn3671 branch in git) once back
then.

Is it possible to fix it or isn't it possible/worth now?
