What are “Open Type Font Features”?
What are the complete steps you perform (step by step) and where?
For the record, the character posted and the image was showing the same (only difference would be style differences, I think, though I don't read Marathi), in the Firefox browser.

My guess is that it would be a limitation in GTK+. Though, same as Andre, getting more details on the problem would help (keep in mind we don't write Marathi, so don't have any background on which character should show how, and why it doesn't; though I know such problems exist, for instance I read some CJK character would show different depending on whether you use fonts targeted at Japanese or Chinese audience).

As https://wiki.gnome.org/TranslationProject/GitHowTo is horribly
outdated I'd point to https://wiki.gnome.org/Git/Developers
If you have problems, please provide exact steps that you performed.
It is currently unclear to me why you need to push translation updates
directly into the code repositories on gitlab.gnome.org if you can also
upload proposed translation changes to l10n.gnome.org instead so the
translation team coordinator could review and merge your changes.
Indeed as far as I understood, manuals are translated exactly the same way as the GUI. So the process should be the same, shouldn't it?
I don't think you actually need an account on gitlab.

Maybe po files are hosted elsewhere, and maybe these are exactly the same (or not; no idea). But in doubt, use the original ones.
