Re: Add members for Khmer team

Note that the workflow starts with the "Reserve module" option so, a non-reserved module is considered as inactive, as there are no on-going actions on it. Once you reserve a module, you will see more options available ;)

Hi Daniel,

Yes, now I can choose "submit to repository" only for the modules with "state: active" but no more options for the models with "state: Inactive" besides "Reserve for translation", "Write a comment", "Inform of submission" and "Archive the actions"

I think this is because active and inactive modules for Khmer.

Thanks,
Sokhem

No, the workflow to reserve and commit a translation is as follows:

1 - Reserve the module
2 - Upload the translated PO file
3 - Review it (no need to previously reserve it for proofreading)
4 - Mark it as "Ready for submission"
5 - Submit the PO file to the repository

The "inform of submission" option just sends and e-mail to the translation team mailing list to notice the file has been uploaded, but it directly doesn't commit the PO file into the repository.

Also note that you can assign different roles to your team members. The roles tha have commit rights are "commiter" and "coordinator" so you, as coordinator of the team, can commit your translations yourself, or you can delegate this task into another (commiter) member.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers!

Hi Daniel,

Thank for your information! As in DL page I can choose only "inform of submission" from New Action drop down list and wait for  another person to commit my translation.

Is that the right way?

Thank again,
Sokhem

Hi Khoem,

individual translators must register theirselves in the Damned Lies page, because they have to use a password and confirm the suscription.

Being coordinator of the team, you should have commit rights from DL page, so you don't need to clone the module and use git commands... just commit the po from DL and it will land in the repository. Also, coordinator has proofreader rights, so you can review translations before commiting them into the repository.

Cheers!

Can I have right as reviewer for Khmer team in order to coordinate all translation process?

Thank you for your reply!
