Somewhere in the process, the files need to be updated with more recent
strings. This is not automatically done in SVN. Either you pick the
merged file on Damned Lies, or you do it yourself by downloading the
source code and doing the "intltool-update sk" in the po sub-directory.
A third possibility would be to download a fresh pot and merge yourself
the two files: "msgmerge old.po new.pot > new.po".

See above. I personally prefer working with KBabel, but I'm afraid to be
doomed for this :-) Poedit should be fine.
