Hi,
A poster has been done to advertise the Google Summer of Code from a
GNOME perspective. Since we're trying to have it printed and put in
universities all around the world, it makes sense to translate it.
Translations have to be done in inkscape, though: you have to open the
svg file and edit it to translate the text. But it's not hard.
Creating a PNG is done by selecting "Export to pixmap" (iirc) in the
file menu.
Creating a PDF can be done by selecting "Print" and using this command
"| ps2pdf - /tmp/soc2007-poster.pdf"

Note that it'd be nice to have translations, but it's clearly low
priority compared to other GNOME translations.
