Hi Åsmund,

I think downloading a installing a distribution
with GNOME 2.5 is the best way.
you can downlaod and install the Fedora core 2 -test1
from:

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/test/1.90/i386/iso/

it has GNOME 2.5 and KDE 3.2 for test.
