I am responding to this thread not to continue the discussion about
localizing Klingon for GNOME, because it appears that the consensus
between Christian Rose and Arafat Medini and others that that portion
of the thread is closed.
I was originally responding to a poster who asked if Klingon was going
to be localized for GNOME, and I said I'm not sure about GNOME, but I
do know for certain that we are localizing Klingon for OpenOffice.org
(OOo for short).
My primary motivation for doing so is to open up the very powerful
graphics, spread sheet, and word processing programs of OOo for
Klingonists who want to do web pages, conference announcements, etc
etc with this powerful open source office suite.

keeping the web site and discuss list private for now). Or email me
off of the tlhIngan-Hol@kli.org to discuss it further, as the
moderator of the tlhIngan-Hol@kli.org has asked that we not have these
kinds of discussions on that list, so please make sure to delete that
address from any replies. Thanks.
