As far as the po files you sent to me are concerned these po files are
mainly for GNOME 2.0 (libgnome, libgnomeui etc), so that you won't see
them in GNOME 1.4.x packages yet.

But you've also sent gnome-core translations AFAIK, so you'd see Tamil
messages for panel etc.
