Nautilus update

I wanted to give an update on Nautilus l10n and i18n work.

First, the Nautilus 1.0 release date has been moved back by one week:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-1.4-list/2001-February/msg00154.html

This should not effect the GNOME 1.4 release schedule at all, and is
probably a good thing for translators since it gives you all some extra
time to get your translations done. We haven't set the new date for
translations to be due for Nautilus 1.0, but it will probably be almost
another week from now (around March 6).

You probably noticed that the number of strings has been growing even
though we promissed to freeze them. This is primarily due to a decent
stream of bug reports which all of you translators have been generously
providing to us which point out various parts of Nautilus which were being
left out of the pot file. These bug reports seem to have nearly stopped,
so I expect the changes in the pot file will do the same.

Feel free to send me email about any breakages in the i18n of Nautilus, or
even write up bug reports at bugzilla.eazel.com. I have been doing spot
checks of various parts of Nautilus in various languages and writing up
bug reports as necessary, but I'm sure I will overlook many problems which
you may find.

Cheers,

Dan
