Yes and yes. :-) Except hopefully the this-time-we-really-mean-it freeze
no the 28th will mitigate a lot of that.
I agree with all this. My original mail was more nervousness at seeing
something like "Gnome 2.0 packages available in Sid" on Slashdot, etc
and then a bunch of bug reports and media articles about how it's all
crap since nothing works with it, etc.
I shall now withdraw and assume that wiser and better people than I have
it all under control and I am worrying unnecessarily.
