I would say that 'OK'ing an info-box would be reasonable: it's an
acknowledgement of having received the information. On the other hand,
'Close' is far more appropriate than 'Cancel'. When you don't do
anything with the box, what is there to cancel? :)
How about 'Dismiss'?
