Sebastian already told that to me in skype. So Phillip can merge Sebastian's branch if everything is good.

But still what is reason to copy whole history if we can get it from https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-applets/?

In Philipp's branch, there is history (try to git blame any file, and
you'll see it).

That was done automatically by merge, now I think those files should be deleted.
