2. Double clicking on any appointment or clicking the edit button is supposed to open evolution-calendar. But it doesn't.

Created patch for this. This might require some extra work, but I was able to open Evolution clicking on Edit button. Also double clicking on date in calendar opens Evolution with correct date. But opening specific task did not work. Got this error message:

evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot import any of the given URIs

If you need this functionality you can try to use this patch. You may need to update this patch to use in ubuntu.
