If these GUIs are working as a standalone app, then a standalone
documentation would be better. But the manual should be available via
the plugin settings in Totem, too.

Cross-references are possible between Mallard docs. But the current
Totem manual is written in old-style DocBook. The only way to
cross-reference would be a link within the Totem manual, but this is not
the best way.

I propose to provide a standalone manual for the DVB daemon for the time
being. Later it could be cross-referenced with an (upcoming) Mallard
documentation for Totem, and it could be provided both as standalone and
as part of the Totem docs. The Mallard format makes it easy to snap a
new *.page file into another.

Cheers,
Mario
