Screensaver preferences

Greetings.
I am using Ubuntu 9.04 with Screensaver working well showing F-Spot
picture favorites.
However the transition time between images is far too quick and I can
not find a preference
time for transitions.
Suggestion is to add a transition preference option as most/all other
screen savers have.
