You are using RH 7.1 (no betas)?

are the following files on your system after installing
gnome-doc-tools:

/usr/share/sgml/docbook/png-support-3.1/catalog
/usr/share/sgml/docbook/png-support-3.1/png-support-3.1.dtd
/etc/sgml/png-support-3.1.cat
