First of all, thanks for contacting us. I think it would be more
effective for you to directly contact the German GNOME community and
GIMP developers to get more concrete contributions.

I'm CC'ing Sven Herzberg (gnome-de) and Sven Neumann (Gimp) to know
what they think about the initiative and how/if they could
participate.
