I think I have something that works now, but I can't get the gnomedb-fe program
to work, It seems that autogen.sh in gnome-db-STABLE is not setting
GNOMEDB_DATADIR correctly.
what is the prefered way to send patches, the mailing list?

One that does not crash, unlike the piece of junk I use at work. I'd like some
basic functions like browsing tables and indexes, extracting and editing stored
procedures, and a stored procedure debugger.
What I've always wanted something where I can plug xemacs in as the editor.
I've read that
the folks doing the port of xemacs to gtk may have a working gtk widget for
xemacs.
Lately, finding the time to sit down and work on it seems to be the hard part.
Once I get something that works, I'll let you all know.
