Just my two cents, I think I would prefer that the libraries stay under the 
LGPL (simply because programmers don't usually get to choose the license 
for their programs in a corporate environment, and I'm one of them that has 
to develop commercial software for a living), however, if everyone wants to 
convert everything here to the GPL I don't mind.
