Can't Connect

Hi,
When ever I try to start a connection using gdafe, I get this error message.

Cannot open factory
--------------------------------------------------------

I am trying to connect using the mysql and postgres providers.
gda-mysql and gda-postgresql.

I installed gnome-db in /opt/gnome-db/ could this be the problem?

here is what my gdalib looks like.

DSN=DATABASE=matias;HOST=localhost
Description=
Configurator=

[mysqltest]
Provider=gda-mysql
DSN=DATABASE=test1
Description=
Configurator=

I can start the connection dialog and select a provider, but when I click OK
it's when I get that error message.
