Re: [gnome-cy] Ok here isa first inept attempt at the Gnome glossary

Annwyl gyfeillion,

We've put our translations for Welsh Mozilla on our project web site. It's one ~1Mb HTML file containing translations for about 8000 texts.

This translations were produced by Rhoslyn Prys who's also translated AbiWord. He may be able to point you to a more up to date terminology for AbiWord. He has a web site at covering Welsh language software in general.

Where possible the terminology is standardised according to a package called the Termiadur Ysgol (standardized terminiology for schools in Wales) developed by Canolfan Bedwyr at the University of Wales, Bangor for ACCAC, some of which are available at

Hope it helps.
Pob hwyl!!!

And yes it has one joke entry so I can find out how many people checked

The computing terminology I've resolved in roughly the following order

Existing (rather dead) KDE translation choices
Existing (very dead) abiword translation choices
Recent Dictionary
Fydd word list
Bangor dictionary of computing terms

Cheers for that. I've had a quick look through it and while there are a
few errors, it on the whole looks good. I suppose seeing as I'm
"inbetween jobs" I've got a fair amount of time right now. I'll take a
better look at it tomorrow and fill in some more of the blanks.

Thanks again,
