Why jump to the conclusion that it's LCMS ?

Color management is complicated. Just like the situation when
programming, if it doesn't work the way you expect, the most
likely explanation is that you've done something wrong.

[From my observations on the lcms mailing list, Marti is very responsive
to reports of problems.]
