==================================================

To the GNOME Accessibility developer team,

My name is Yuan Hang, a bland user from China.With the help from Beijing GNOME Users Group on translation, I am writing to express my thanks to A11y team as well as my feedback about the Accessibility usage. Thanks for your contribution to Accessibility on GNOME,  which can help low vision and blind users like me to use computer.

I am a beginner user of Linux, so just want to share some simple thoughts about my user experiences.

I understand that GNOME is the desktop on Linux, the Accessibility is not developed by a single company but by GNOME community. We would like GNOME community and GNOME Foundation can launch a initiative program to tell all Linux distribution companies that when they deliver their new version of GNOME/Linux, be aware of that there is a  group of people who are only using their ears to surfing on the Internet. Please help us to ensure the Accessibility programs are working well on their Linux distribution.

Besides, we would like to have a TTS( Text to Speech) engine, support different language. For example, there is a open source project called Ekho TTS, which support Chinese TTS as well as other languages like: Spanish,  Tibetan etc. We would like to have program like this by default. We also would like to more shortcut key. No matter what Linux version we are using, we can just enable the accessibility by press shortcut key. In this way, our Linux journey will be much easier.

Thanks a lot for the awesome work on GNOME accessibility. We really appreciate your work and it makes our world better.

Best regards,
Yuan Hang

1, TTS, text to speech
