./autogen.sh was missing yelp.m4. I have installed yelp-tools and yelp-xsl. Problem is solved.

I use the same development environment, and everything works fine for me.

Can you paste the output for the whole process,

i.e.

./autogen.sh

cd src

make

 

Make sure you clean the directory before you do the above stuff by using "make clean" from the root directory..
