Hi,
Sorry to disturb again, but it is not working even after installing
harfbuzz using jhbuild.
Also after skipping that module, got similar error in next module. Again,
Don't skip the modules, try to install them after again. To find
packages use ubuntu package search [1] .
even after successfully installing dbus, DBus and DBUS using jhbuild
doesn't resolve the problem.
This problem occurs as installed packages not meet the requirement of
package version. Try to find requested or higher version of package.
In other words, I need to find the location of the binaries of the
installed packages, that jhbuild is unable to find. Please note, that these
packages were installed in the traditional ways, i.e. using *apt-get* or*jhbuild
*.
( Several similar errors encoutered in further modules, hence posting only
one. )
*Error Output:*
checking for DBUS... no
configure: error: Package requirements (dbus-1 >= 1.0) were not met:
No package 'dbus-1' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Look into this example for managing Jhbuild issue [2].
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables DBUS_CFLAGS
and DBUS_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
