Re: New #a11y Meeting times proposed!

Both UTC 6:00 and UTC 7:00 is OK for me.

In today's #a11y meeting, we tackled the subject of finding a meeting
time that works for most people around the world. So we have made the
following proposal that hopefully everyone likes. If you could express
your vote for or against it here, we'd appreciate it and hopefully begin
the new meeting times next week:

Meetings flip every two weeks on Thursdays (not Fridays anymore.)
Week 1: UTC 7:00
Week 2: UTC 15:00
Week 3: UTC 7:00
Week 4: UTC 15:00
I will only be able to attend weeks 1 and 3, and so on. As it is, that is a very difficult time, as I finish work at 7:00UTC, which is 17:00 Sydney time. At this point, I think I will only attend if there is something on the agenda that I need to be present for.

Well, we're trying to get a time zone that is favorable for people in
AU, so if neither works, then we haven't accomplished our goal. Does
6:00 UTC work better?
Yes, it does. :)

+1 to the change to UTC 6:00. (Which I should be able to attend.)

So I think we'll go with 6:00 UTC, unless there are objections out
there, which I gather we'll know more about in the next few hours when
Europe wakes up. But the more I look at 6:00, the more ideal it seems
to be for us. It'll be 11 p.m. on the West Coast so an ideal time for
Peter Korn when he's just coming home after corrupting more people with
his 16-year old Scotch. :-)

I'll announce in 24 hours from now what our next meeting time will be.
See you all soon!

Bryen
