accessibility hooks in the X server

Hi.

I'm in the process of installing Gnome on a Debian Sarge box.  Since I
know I won't get much usable with default Debian Sarge packages, I plan
to build parts of the system from source.

What X server provides the most hooks for accessibility, xfree86 or
xorg?
