Yes, it was actually me who was asking.  I was indeed wondering about
whether Gnopernicus can identify capital letters as you arrow over them or
when they are typed.  It's good to know that you can get it to say whether
the caps lock is on, and given how verbose it is in the first place, I'm
surprised that isn't on by default.
