Hi, Adam.
To get gnopernicus to work properly without speakup interfering with
gnopernicus you'll need to create a new entry in your lilo.conf or grub.conf
file depending on which bootloader you use. OneEntry loads speakup and the
other doesn't.
When you want to play with gnopernicus reboot your computer and choose the
lilo or grub option that loads your computer without speakup.
