gnome-core CVS (again)

Hi guys,

if nobody disagrees, I'll tag the current gnome-core CVS HEAD
GNOME_1_4_ANCHOR and then create a gnome-1-4 branch.

After that, I'll merge the GNOME20 branch to the HEAD and help
Seth with porting the Panel to GNOME 2. When the merging is done,
I'll also put the ditem moniker into gnome-core and make it
working with the current setup.
