[ Havent you notice the smiley ? I dont usualy use smiley, the one I've put
on my message was only there 'cos I was guessing that this little touch of
humor could be feeled as an aggressive talk . ]
I have doubt about your objectivity, since you're the author of gpaint
(dont take this as a personnal attack, but its impossible for someone to be
really totally objective about his son).
GNOME was since the start an official part of the GNU project, no ? The
foundation wasn't planning to changing the GNOME status about the GNU
project, so I dont really get it (forget it, its not the point, for me).
Is gpaint an official part of the GNU project ? (the fact that gpaint
stands for GNU paint is not an answer) ? By the way, I was talking about
official part about XEmacs / Emacs... Seems logical that an official part
of the GNU, GNOME, support an another official part, GNU Emacs.
- I really see a difference beetwen editing and viewing. A lightweight
viewer can be a usefull tool for viewing a lot of differents images in a
few seconds..
About edition, I dont want - and dont know a person who want to - working
with less-capable tools, when I can simply use the best, 'cos when I start
editing, no matter what kind of work I want to do, its obsviously faster to
use the best editor than another .
I understand that you're not glad to hear this kind of stuff, sure... I
dont makes me change my views. Gpaint is not a viewer, ok.. But it's not a
complete editor. So ?
So I dont think it would be an usefull addition to the extra-software, for
now.
