Jeff,
A bit more now. Since it seems that dbmail really seems to want a version 2.2.n of gmime, I'm trying a build of version 2.2.25
on # make install, we get:
/bin/bash: line 21: gtkdoc-rebase: command not found
make[3]: *** [install-data-local] Error 127
Then tried to explicitly disable gtk-doc - even though default should be disabled; makes no difference.
# ./configure --enable-gtk-doc=no
on # make install:
/bin/bash: line 21: gtkdoc-rebase: command not found
make[3]: *** [install-data-local] Error 127
Have even tied to fix it by commenting out the reference to the gtk-doc.make file in the main Makefile; no joy.
Now what could this be?
