If there's anything specific that Ext GWT would help with, to make the
current Online Glom UI better, or to make its source code better,
suggestions would be welcome.

But basic functionality is currently far more important than perfect
AJAXness. We don't even allow editing right now, because a view-only UI
is hard enough to get done.

Understand, and agree. 

Just that the ExtJS *might* make it *easier* for Online Glom UI, because last time I checked it out, I was amazed how simple it is to code AJAX GUI in ExtJS.

But it may not fix for Online Glom UI, just my 2c.
