I forget one thing to ask - is there any possibility to make external
application (e.g. written in Haskell) to speak with Glom and use it as
its database back-end?
It depends what that means. Glom is not a backend. Glom is a frontend,
and a way to design the frontend and backend structure together.
Glom uses a perfectly normal Postgres database on a perfectly normal
Postgres server. You can change data directly in that database without
using Glom, for instance via SQL queries.
